Profile

About me... I am a Costume Designer and Stylist. I work in the television and film industry as a Designer. As a Stylist, I style several celebrities, dressing them for events and public appearances. I also arrange their wardrobes, de-clutter and look at seasonal needs. I pack and unpack cases for travel and sort alterations and cleaning needs. I also work with women and men who, for various reasons, have lost their confidence and style. This can include shopping trips and fittings. All of my clients have very personal needs and I take a very personal approach to all. I offer many skills and can adapt to all requests and needs. My skills and experience are not only available to those in the public eye. I come with high references and have worked with both men and women, all shapes and sizes. I know my craft and I am discreet and trustworthy. I chose my profession after becoming a Bachelor of Arts. I am fascinated by the 'power' of clothes. I am not a slave to Fashion, I am here to help you look and feel your best and I am very good at what I do. I understand the needs of the people I work with and I am able to create an environment that works for them.

A typical day

Up early checking emails and messages from clients. I will discuss requirements with clients and get to work on completing the brief. Wardrobe organisation, de-cluttering and packing will require me to spend my day in client’s homes. I am often shopping with or without clients. If I am filming my day will start at 5.30 going to location for filming. As the Costume Designer I am in complete control of all outfits, accessories and jewellery worn by the entire Cast and background Artists. I have a chosen Team who work with me.

They are themselves extremely talented and good at their jobs. I may well have fittings with Artists and/or shopping trips. My filming day will finish 12-14 hours later. A magazine shoot will generally take place in a studio or one location. A cover shoot will usually be one Personality, although I have styled several celebrity families and couples.
