Number of Children: B6, G3, newborn boy

Salary: £22+ gross per hour - depending on experience

Holiday: 28 days holiday per year (5.6 weeks) to include bank holidays

Start Date: ASAP

Hours Required: Monday to Friday to 8.30/9.00am - 5.30/6.00pm

Driver: Driver would be a bonus; a family car can be provided, and parking is available.

Summary:

This is a lovely, shared charge, Housekeeper / Nanny role working with a lovely family in Bromley.

The family are looking for a housekeeper who is also happy to help with the children and support them in creating a peaceful environment. The family is holistic, gentle, and alternative-minded. They follow attachment parenting and would like someone who can support them with this. Mum is happy to guide you if you are open to learning. Someone calm, empathetic, intuitive, organised and has the flexibility to grow with the family for the long-term and looking to become part of their family. This would suit someone who has great work ethics and is able to use their initiative.

The main focus is on the household management of the role and helping out with the children when needed. On occasions you will have sole charge to give the parents an opportunity for activities, but mainly shared charge with mum. Someone happy to support mum with baby wearing at times so she can attend to other things. During school holidays there will be more involvement with the children and including them in everyday tasks and activities

Duties will include: -

  • Full housekeeping duties to include deep cleaning, bathrooms, laundry, vacuuming, mopping and tidying,
  • Keeping the house in good order,
  • Wardrobe management,
  • Taking in deliveries and running errands,
  • Cooking healthy meals for the children, and for the whole family, if you are open to this,
  • Planning meals and grocery shopping,
  • Accompanying the family on holidays.
