Profile
About me... I have been a foster carer for over 10 years both with the Local authority and private agency. I have a strong passion for caring for children/young people as I have seen the positive outcomes achieved being a foster carer. I am looking to broaden my experience caring for children by working alongside family members and supporting them. I like the idea of a Monday - Friday position as I currently work 24/7 round the clock. Being a foster carer has given me the skills to care for any child placed with me. I have undertaken training both in the office and online. I have taken children in from all walks of life including - withdrawing babies, mental health, young mum to be, deaf and dumb, cerebral palsy.

As a mum to 3 older children and having fostered around 90 children, HM8 is skilled at caring and running a family home. She is organised and thorough and enjoys caring for the home. She is good with laundry and ironing and is happy to cook daily, from scratch. She can cook a wide variety of foods including curries and traditional English foods.
