Summary
This is a full-time role supporting a single principal in a calm, peaceful home in West Horsley. The position requires an exceptionally thorough Housekeeper who can also take on light house management responsibilities. The client needs someone who can maintain very high cleaning standards, help set up and organise the home, move items or furniture when needed, and oversee simple household matters while she recovers her health. Kindness, positivity, discretion and a quiet, respectful manner are essential. The role will begin on a temporary basis for the first 2 to 3 months and may become permanent if the fit is right.
Duties
- Cleaning all areas of the home to an exceptional standard
- Laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- Organising cupboards, drawers, paperwork and the home office
- Hands on help moving items or furniture safely when required
- Setting up household systems and improving order throughout the home
- Light cooking when needed, but not a chef focused role
- Keeping the home calm, quiet and supportive
- Ensuring all rooms are tidy, functional and well presented
- Following preferred methods as demonstrated
- Helping source tradespeople and overseeing simple tasks in the home
- Using Apple devices confidently for basic household administration
- Working sensitively around a principal who is at home
Candidate Requirements
- Experienced Housekeeper with strong organisational ability
- Exceptional cleaning standards and attention to detail
- Kind, positive, discreet and completely trustworthy
- Calm and respectful, able to work quietly and independently
- Fit and capable with stairs, lifting and moving items
- Tech savvy, especially with Apple products
- Non judgmental and drama free
- Open to a temporary to permanent arrangement
- Driver preferred
