Hours Required: Monday to Friday 11am/12pm to 7pm. Occasional weekends or evenings required
Driver: Prefer driver though not essential
Accommodation: Separate shared house with other members staff.
Summary:
A prestigious private household is seeking a professional, experienced, and detail-focused Housekeeper to join their fully staffed team. This is a long-term, live-out or live in opportunity suited to someone who takes pride in their work, is highly organised, and can maintain the highest housekeeping standards in a luxury home. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with a discreet and proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Full housekeeping duties, including daily cleaning to a consistently high standard
- Wardrobe management, including seasonal organisation and care of delicate items
- Laundry and ironing (with additional support for heavier ironing tasks)
- Monitoring household supplies and alerting when items need replenishing
- Being able to work by yourself, though occasionally lending a hand to other team members with their tasks, so must be a team player.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role within a high-end private household
- Strong attention to detail and ability to take initiative
- Trustworthy, discreet, and professional at all times
- Flexible and adaptable, particularly with family and children present
- Team-oriented with a willingness to assist others as needed
- A UK driving licence is advantageous but not required
