Live-in accommodation: Self-contained flat comprising air-conditioned bedroom, living room with full kitchen, shower room and laundry facilities. Private Entrance. Wi Fi
Summary
A lovely opportunity for a professional and experienced live-in housekeeper to support a couple in their beautiful six-bedroom home in Beaconsfield. The property is spacious, with multiple reception rooms, two studies, six bathrooms and additional WCs.
This live-in housekeeping role in Beaconsfield is best suited to someone who has experience working in large homes, is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining high standards. The family are warm and respectful, and are seeking someone trustworthy, cheerful, and looking for a long-term position.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning and upkeep of the main living areas used by the couple (bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, family room, and studies)
- Full housekeeping duties on a rotational basis across the entire property
- Managing laundry, ironing, and wardrobe organisation
- Preparing guest suites when grown-up children or house guests stay (occasional basis)
- Light meal preparation when required
- Running errands locally
- Overseeing and liaising with contractors as needed
- Being on-site and present at night during periods when the principals are away (approximately 4 months of the year)
Requirements
- Proven experience as a housekeeper in large, high-specification private homes
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Discreet, trustworthy, and professional
- Positive, helpful attitude and a willingness to take instruction
- Comfortable working in an informal but high-standard household
- Confident with laundry and wardrobe care
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage tasks independently
- Fluent in English
- Long-term commitment and flexibility are key
