Location: Centre of Oxford

Pets: 2 dogs

Salary: £15,000 to £18,000 gross per annum

Holiday: Statutory holiday

Start Date: As soon as possible, but happy to wait for the right candidate.

Hours Required: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday - Mornings and late afternoons.

It would not be every weekend.

Driver: Prefer driver but not essential

Live in Accommodation: A self-contained one bedroom, bathroom, sitting room and kitchen flat with its own private entrance. The flat has Wi-Fi and satellite TV.

Summary:

This is a truly lovely role as a live-in companion for my client's adult daughter She has a neuro-motor disorder but lives a full and mostly independent life.

Pre covid, she had an active life and is generally busy during the week with pottery courses, an art course and helping out at the local creche. She also goes to the gym and has physio three times a week. She is hoping to enrol in a Health and Social care course.

Mum and Dad live in the Country but visit Oxford regularly and are big part of their daughter's life. The also employ a Housekeeper who divides her time between the Country house and the Oxford house.

Duties

The main job is to be a companion to the daughter.

To help her engage in diverse activities to keep her stimulated and happy.

She loves people and is very sociable and so it would be great if someone could help and support her with her social life.

We would expect the companion to spend just half of each day with her to break up the day.

She is very Independent but does get lonely on her own.

This role will suit you if you have a good sense of humour and fun. You will be kind, caring and patient as well as inventive and creative and enjoys craft making, art etc. It's important that you are good at organising activities in and outside the home.
