Salary: £ 35,000 gross per annum, pro rata.
Holiday: Pro rata statutory holiday
Start Date: ASAP
Hours Required: 8-12 and 4-8pm - Monday to Friday
Driver: Yes, car provided for use on duty
Live-in accommodation: Separate annex, private bathroom, Kitchenette, sitting/bedroom, wifi
Summary:
This is a lovely 2, possibly longer, live-in Housekeeper role with a lovely family in Rotherfield, East Sussex.
Mum is planning a long trip, and we are looking for someone to take care of the house and also the dogs. Both dogs are much loved, and Mum describes the Giant Schnauzer, in particular, as loving and needing company. It's essential in this role, that you love dogs and are very comfortable around 2 very friendly dogs.
They live in a large country house with a large garden,5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. A cleaner is employed
Duties will include:
- Some cleaning
- laundry
- bed changing
- shopping (food and household items)
- dog walking and dog care
- some cooking, but limited amount
This role will suit you if you are a capable, flexible person who gets on with dogs and has experience working in a similar role. This is an informal household, and you will be discrete and be interested in working in a quiet country setting. Someone who can cook to a good standard would be preferred.
