Pets: 1 small shiatzu, 2 Russian hamsters, 2 fish

Salary: £25,479 gross per annum (Employers to pay Tax, National Insurance and Pension liabilities) (£400 net per week)

Holiday: 28 days holiday per year (5.6 weeks) to include bank holidays

Start Date: Late January 2018

Hours Required: 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Mum is likely to need babysitting on a Monday 7-9pm, a Tuesday 7-9pm and occasionally in the evenings at the weekend. The successful candidate will need to be flexible to accommodate this and the hours can be reduced from the Monday – Friday 50 hours to be accrued for babysitting through the week

Driver: Yes, a driver is essential (a clean UK driving licence for 5 years+)

Accommodation: Self-contained private annex with private entrance and private garden. Ground floor living / kitchen and shower room. Upstairs bedroom. Wi-Fi. All bills included.

Summary:

A great role for a detailed, proactive, organised, dedicated and experienced Housekeeper.  You will have a true love of cleaning, and feel comfortable managing your schedule to keep an 8000 sq ft home in immaculate order.   You will be good with children and dogs. You will enjoy cooking and have a friendly disposition. We are looking for a long-term placement.

Duties will include:

  • Morning school run
  • General Cleaning of all rooms / bathrooms etc. with acute attention to detail.
  • Laundry and ironing
  • Beds
  • Detail cleaning / Organising
  • Polishing floors
  • Internal window cleaning
  • Spring cleaning of cupboards and wardrobes quarterly
  • Keeping the drive and front of house clean
  • Cooking evening meal Monday-Friday
  • Weekly shopping
  • Dry cleaning
  • Other small errands
  • Organising trades as necessary
  • Babysitting
  • Dog walking and care

There is an opportunity to increase the pay by taking on responsibility for a weekend and mid-week office clean for £50 a week.
