Pets: A Labradoodle

Salary: £25,500 to £31,00 gross per annum (Family responsible for Tax, National Insurance and Pension liabilities) (£10-£12 net per hour)

Holiday: 28 days holiday per year (5.6 weeks) to include bank holidays pro rata if applicable

Start Date: September

Hours Required: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 7.30am to 7.30pm and Friday 3.00pm to 6.00pm

Driver: Yes, and must have own car


A lovely informal family are looking for an experienced Nanny / Housekeeper to start in September.  The family would love to find a warm, caring person who will bond quickly with their children and become a valued long-term member of the family. 

The ideal candidate will be someone happy, energetic, hardworking, trustworthy and dependable who will embrace all aspects of the role with the desire to take on and do a great job with both the childcare and housekeeping duties equally.  Flexibility is also important as the parents will both be working in London and on occasion may experience travel delays.  A proven track record of driving children in their care is essential.

Duties to include:

  • Preparing breakfast for the children each morning, helping them get ready for school, packing school bags and school drop off
  • Keeping all areas of the house clean and tidy with a weekly cleaning schedule to cover all areas of the house
  • Washing, ironing and putting away the children's clothes and doing a weekly wash of their towels and bed linen
  • Ironing the family laundry to include school uniforms and sports kits
  • Managing, tidying and organising the playroom as needed
  • Grocery shopping and meal preparation for the week to include running errands
  • Planning and cooking healthy and nutritious meals
  • Driving the children to and from school as needed and to after school clubs, hosting play dates etc
  • Organising fun games and activities at home such as arts, crafts and home baking
  • Helping with homework
  • School administration and preparations that fall on the Nanny’s working days
  • Dog walking
  • Dealing with contractors
