Overview
A family in Shepperton, Surrey, is looking for an experienced Nanny Housekeeper to join them on a permanent, part-time basis.
This is a true combined role, comprising approximately 60% childcare and 40% housekeeping. The family is looking for one capable and well-organised person who can provide confident care for their young daughter while also taking responsibility for the regular cleaning, laundry and organisation of the home.
The family currently has an 18-month-old daughter and is expecting another baby in February 2027. The childcare will include spending engaging time with the little girl and taking her to ballet classes, soft play, the park and other suitable activities. The successful candidate will also need to be confident caring for a baby as the family's needs develop.
The housekeeping is an important and established part of the position. The Nanny Housekeeper will be responsible for the family's laundry, changing bed linen, cleaning the bedrooms and bathrooms, hoovering, mopping and helping to keep the home organised and well presented.
The family lives in a gated five-bedroom house with four bathrooms and two living rooms. A parent works from home for part of the week and is out for work two days each week.
This role would suit someone with genuine experience across both childcare and housekeeping who enjoys variety, works in an organised way and takes pride in looking after both the children and the home.
