Summary
A warm household in Kensington is seeking a professional daily nanny/housekeeper for a temporary full-time role with a strong focus on childcare. This is a 60/40 split in favour of nanny duties, offering an excellent opportunity for a nurturing and experienced candidate to join a respectful and welcoming family environment. The position will run from 6th July to 24th August 2025, with core support required for the two youngest children, aged 5 and 7.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing attentive, patient, and kind care to two school-aged children
- Planning age-appropriate activities and maintaining routines
- Supporting the children's development with clever, engaging play
- Light housekeeping duties related to the children and home
- General household help, including tidying, laundry, and kitchen support
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation across shared spaces
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar nanny housekeeper role, ideally in central London
- Strong emphasis on childcare (minimum 60% of the role)
- Must be fluent in English
- Valid First Aid certification is required
- Right to work in the UK
- Available to work Monday to Saturday, covering approximately 66 hours per week
- High levels of patience, attentiveness, intelligence, and kindness
- Must respect boundaries and ensure discretion at all times
- Driver not required
