Agency Requirements for Candidates

We follow an intensive childcare and domestic staff recruitment process, selecting only the most qualified candidates to screen, interview, and recommend to our clients. We DO NOT charge candidates for our services.

To successfully register with HomeOrganisers, we would expect the following:-

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience
  • CV must show dedication to your chosen profession
  • Profession related qualifications
  • Must be 20 years of age or over (unless applying for junior nanny role)
  • Completion of Candidate  Application Form
  • Completion of initial interview
  • Completion of 2nd long Agency Interview
  • Excellent, verifiable employment references
  • Commitment for at least 12 months for all long term positions
  • Must have a strong command of the English language both verbal and written
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Must be a holder of government issued photographic ID document e.g passport
  • A valid driver’s licence is preferred
  •  A satisfactory driving record
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a valid Paediatric First Aid or First Aid certificate (or be prepared to obtain one)
  • Must be a non-smoker for nanny profession (preferred non-smoker for other professions)
  • Must have a valid enhanced DBS (or be prepared to obtain and pay for a DBS) for nanny profession or domestic work involving children
  • Possess a valid National Insurance Number
  • Must be able to explain any employment gaps with proof if appropriate
  • Must be able to prove address
