Agency Requirements
At HomeOrganisers, we adhere to a rigorous and professional recruitment process, handpicking only the most qualified candidates for screening, interviewing, and recommendation to our clients. We do not charge candidates to use our services.
To successfully register with HomeOrganisers, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Experience and Qualifications:
Candidates must have at least two years of professional experience in their field, along with relevant qualifications that showcase their expertise and commitment to their profession.
Application Process:
Your journey starts with a well-structured, professional CV outlining your experience and dedication. Once we have had a chance to review, we will invite you to call in so that we can discuss your application. You will be asked to complete our Candidate Application Form, followed by an in-depth interview to understand further what drives you, your personality, and your CV. This is a comprehensive agency interview to ensure the perfect job match.
References and Commitment:
You will need strong, verifiable employment references. We need references who can be contacted immediately. We are very aware that referencing can be annoying to previous employers, so we do everything we can to minimise it. It's great if you have letters of reference; whilst we still need verified references, these are valuable resources.
Communication Skills:
A strong command of both written and spoken English, along with excellent communication skills.
Documentation:
A government-issued photographic ID (e.g., passport) and a valid National Insurance Number. A valid DBS check and Paediatric First Aid or First Aid certificate are required for specific roles, or candidates must be prepared to obtain these at their own expense.
Work Eligibility:
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and we will perform a Right to Work Check. A valid driving licence is preferred, but not all roles require a driver.
Personal Requirements:
Non-smokers are preferred, particularly for nanny roles or positions requiring a smoke-free environment. Candidates should also be able to explain any gaps in their employment history, provide proof if necessary, and verify their current address.

We specialise in placing professional nannies, housekeepers, and other domestic staff in live-in and live-out, full-time and part-time positions. We are specialists in combination roles such as Nanny Housekeeper and housekeeper cook, Housekeeper PA, and live-in Domestic couple roles.
3. Do I need a driving licence?
A valid driving licence is preferred for many roles but not always required.
4. How long does the recruitment process take?
The timeframe varies depending on the role and your availability; however, we aim to match candidates with suitable positions as efficiently as possible and placements can be very quick.
5. What if I don't have a DBS check or First Aid certificate?
If required for your role, you must be willing to obtain these at your own expense before starting a job.
